Tom Kielty, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kielty joined Aequus Technologies Corporation ("Aequus") and Snap Telecommunications Inc. ("Snap!VRS") in September 2007 as an advisor to management and the Board of Directors. He was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of both companies and a Director of the Aequus Board in August 2008.
Prior to this role, leveraging his nearly 30 years experience in financial services, technology, and pharmaceutical industries, which includes 14 years internationally, Mr. Kielty worked the past eight years as an independent consultant and coach. Mr. Kielty advised client businesses in the pharmaceutical pre-clinical R&D market and the technology asset management, software, and services markets who were considered by their key stakeholders to be undervalued or underperforming, or where they believed Mr. Kielty's business development, M&A advisory, or operating management experience could add meaningful value in helping the company progress to the next level.
Previously, Mr. Kielty held various senior executive operating roles and technology leadership positions with global companies such as: SmithKline Corporation (now GlaxoSmithKline), The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse), Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank), Daiwa Securities America, CIBC, Perot Systems, and EDS (now part of HP).
Richard Schatzberg, Executive Chairman
Mr. Schatzberg is Executive Chairman of the Company and leads sales and business development activities to expand the Snap!VRS customer base into enterprise markets. Mr. Schatzberg founded Aequus Technologies in 2001, which later acquired Snap Telecommunications. Prior to founding Aequus, Mr. Schatzberg served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of NeST Technologies, a global systems engineering and application development firm. Mr. Schatzberg is the former President and co-founder of IDANG, Inc., a software consulting firm. He has served as the Chairperson for several federally funded grants programs which support the training and employment of adults with disabilities. He is currently the Treasurer of the Board of the Directors of the Abilities Fund, a national non-profit serving entrepreneur with disabilities, and serves as the Co-Chair of the Business Advisory Council for the EmployME! Program, a Kessler Foundation funded program servicing adults with physical disabilities. Mr. Schatzberg is a frequent national speaker in the areas of assistive technologies and on creating greater employment opportunities for people with disabilities.Mark Goff, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Goff is Chief Technology Officer of Snap!VRS and is responsible for strategic direction and daily operations of all areas of the telecommunications infrastructure. Mr. Goff has 25 years of experience managing all areas of IT, operations and implementing complex systems and company strategies. Prior to joining Snap!VRS, Mr. Goff was President of DataBahn, Inc a satellite service company. Before joining DataBahn, Mr. Goff was Chief Technology Officer and executive team member for ClientLogic and had responsibilities for all global IT functions. Before joining ClientLogic, he was Vice President of Integration and Implementation at Alliance Data Systems. Prior to his work at Alliance Data, he worked for Levi Strauss as Vice president of IT and Telecommunications where he lead the re-engineering of the global supply chain systems and telecommunications network including a worldwide Unix/NT systems rollout. Prior to his work at Levi's he worked for TRW Credit Reporting, where he accomplished the consolidation of two credit reporting systems/data centers into a single center and built and installed a state-of-the-art call center integrated system. Mr. Krieger is Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all aspects of the Company's accounting, financial planning and reporting, cash management, internal controls, financial and regulatory audits, and human resources. Prior to joining the Company, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Midnight Oil Company, LLC (now The Gerber Group) for five years where the controls and systems he implemented assisted the company in growing revenue 500%. Before joining Midnight Oil Company, Mr. Krieger was an internal audit manager with Viacom, Inc. for three years, where he performed operational and financial audits of its various entertainment and retail subsidiaries around the globe. Prior to Viacom, Inc., Mr. Krieger spent seven years with the certified public accounting firm of Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP (now RSM McGladrey), including his last two years as an audit manager, where his primary focus was on SEC engagements covering various industries. He earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a C.P.A.Jeff Rosen, General Counsel and VP of Governmental Affairs
Mr. Rosen serves as General Counsel and VP of Governmental Affairs and is responsible for managing the legal affairs and overall government relations. For the last seven years, Rosen was a Presidential appointee serving as the General Counsel and Director of Policy for the National Council on Disability, an independent federal agency providing advice and recommendations to the President and Congress on policies and programs impacting people with disabilities. Prior to this position, Mr. Rosen spent thirteen years as a senior attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Andrew Forti, Strategic Solutions Architect
Mr. Forti has spent 9 years involved with the start-up and launch of new technology-based businesses. In his current role as Strategic Solutions Architect, Mr. Forti is responsible for leading product management and commercialization as well as the daily operations related to customer support, outreach, and program management. Prior to Snap!VRS, Mr. Forti was Director of Marketing for Aequus Technologies where he supported the development and launch of XML content conversion services and digital delivery solutions targeting educational publishers and government agencies. Prior to Aequus, Mr. Forti assisted the Director of the Purdue University Gateways Program, an incubator designed to help entrepreneurs launch new technology ventures. In this role, Mr. Forti conducted strategic industry analyses and employed a stage-gate methodology to help identify, evaluate, and assist commercialization efforts for several new start-up businesses across a variety of industries. Mr. Forti received an M.S. in Management of Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, and is currently completing a professional certificate in Financial Analysis from New York University.Sean Gerlis, Director of Field Services & Outreach
Mr. Gerlis joined Snap Telecommunications, Inc. (Snap!VRS) in May 2009 as a Director of Field Services and Outreach in the Northeast Region.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Gerlis has a degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has been involved in the Telecommunications Industry for approximately 7 years.
With Mr. Gerlis' expertise in information technology specializing in Human Factor and Industrial Design/Training, he brings these valuable resources to the video relay service industry.
Previously Mr. Gerlis' worked for Xerox Corporation and Kyocera Mita as a software engineer, and GoAmerica as a product manager.
Mr. Gerlis also has a lifelong passion for advocacy and community service. Currently, Mr Gerlis is the President of Deaf & Hard of Hearing Kaleidoscope, which coordinates Deaf Awareness Week in New York City, President of the Kappa Phi Theta Alumni Association, and Board member of the National Association of Deaf.
Fabio Campagna, Senior Director of Customer Operations
Fabio is a 20+ year veteran of the telecommunications industry, having held various mid- to senior-level product management and operations positions with AT&T, Global Crossing, Winstar (acquired by IDT) and MCI. Most recently he served as Senior Operations Director for Tuyo Mobile, a wholly owned subsidiary of IDT Corporation that sells consumer wireless services to the Latino community.
As one of Tuyo Mobile's founding employees, Fabio was instrumental in building this business from financial concept through launch and subsequent growth. Before leaving the company, he oversaw all operational aspects of the business including customer operations, carrier relations, product development, logistics, purchasing and more.
Fabio holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Seton Hall University.
